Web Support & Platform Maintenance Executive

Gighala.my is looking for one technical support staff to maintain our Python-based web platform. This role is suitable for someone who can handle day-to-day platform support, fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, maintain the codebase, and support ongoing improvements. You will help ensure the platform remains stable, secure, and operational for users. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and support the Gighala.my Python-based platform Troubleshoot and fix bugs, errors, and technical issues Handle minor to medium code changes and enhancements Support testing, staging, and production deployment Monitor website uptime, speed, and system health Investigate user-reported issues and resolve them quickly Maintain database integrity and basic server/app housekeeping Manage backups, updates, logs, and routine maintenance Keep documentation of fixes, changes, and technical issues Work closely with the founder/team to improve platform reliability Technical Requirements: Experience working with Python-based web applications Familiar with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript Familiar with Git/version control Basic knowledge of database management such as MySQL or PostgreSQL Able to work with deployment, hosting, server troubleshooting, and debugging Able to read existing code and make safe changes without breaking production Preferred: Experience maintaining live production websites Familiarity with Linux server environment Familiar with API integration, logging, and error tracing Startup or marketplace platform experience is a plus Who We Want: We want someone dependable, practical, and responsive — a person who can take ownership of keeping Gighala running, not just write code occasionally.
